The city of Edmonton is breathing easier now that a little girl abducted from a park is on her way home.
7-year-old Anastasia Marie Whetton was found alive and reportedly unharmed in Evansburg just after 3:00. No word yet on if police have caught her abductor.
Anastasia was taken from a north Edmonton park, near 132A Avenue and 33rd Street just before 11:00 this morning. A man in his early 30’s lured her into a blue SUV before speeding off.
The man is described as a white, standing around six feet tall with balding blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black zip-up jacket, silver-rimmed glasses and blue jeans.
